XiMED physicians have staff privileges at the Scripps Memorial Hospitals in La Jolla, Encinitas and Scripps Mercy. Access to both inpatient and outpatient state of the art technology is available as a result of these affiliations. In addition, the company's headquarters are located in the prestigious Scripps/XiMED Medical Center, which is located on campus at the Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. This facility houses approximately 200 of the group's physicians in almost every medical specialty. Many of the physician offices in this center have been designed by nationally known architect Jain Malkin. Ms. Malkin's focus on the relationship between environment, comfort and healing has been integrated architecturally into many of the office suites. Also included in the facility are the state of the art Scripps Imaging Center, Scripps Outpatient Surgery Center, and the Scripps Polster Breast Care Center.
