XiMED is an Independent Practice Network with access to over 1,000 independent physicians. The name, pronounced "Zi-med," stands for "Excellence in Medicine." Through their independent individual or group medical practices XiMED physicians provide highly personalized care in small to mid-size practice settings. XiMED physicians have staff privileges at the Scripps Hospitals and cover all medical specialties, including primary care. XiMED physicians have a strong belief in the doctor-patient relationship and take pride in viewing each patient as an individual. Developing a care plan that takes into account your individual circumstances and needs plays a role in achieving the best possible results. Moreover, XiMED physicians are Board Certified and go through a rigorous screening and credentialing process prior to gaining membership status.
